EMERGENCY MEASURES
Due to the spreading of the Coronavirus and the unprecedented circumstances in the local area, LCIC has taken the following emergency measure:
ALL CONGREGATIONAL SERVICES & ACTIVITIES ARE NOW TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED AT LCIC
The Masjid will remain CLOSED until further notice:
- No daily congregational salah in the masjid
- No Jumuah salah (please pray dhuhr salah at home)
- No maktab classes (learning packs will be given and other methods of teaching will be offered to the students)
- No talks / adult classes
This will be effective from after Asr salah on Wednesday 18th March 2020
This is a decision that was not taken lightly and has been done to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus in the local area and in the UK. Ultimately, we turn to Allah and seek His protection in all matters, but this includes taking all the necessary precautions to protect ourselves and others.
This has been a very difficult decision for us and we hope that everyone can understand the severity of the situation for us to take these extreme measures.
